This Cookie Policy explains how Goletro Technologies Pvt Ltd ("Goletro", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our marketing website at goletro.com and use the Goletro application at app.goletro.com. By continuing to use our websites, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

What are cookies

  • Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better user experience, and supply information to site owners.
  • Cookies can be "session cookies" (which are deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent cookies" (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them).
  • Cookies can be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third-party services that the website uses ("third-party cookies").
02

How we use cookies

  • Goletro takes a minimal, privacy-first approach to cookies. We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation and security of our platform.
  • We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, behavioural tracking, or profiling purposes.
  • We do not place any third-party advertising or tracking cookies on our websites.
03

Cookies we use

  • Session authentication cookie: When you log in to the Goletro application at app.goletro.com, a session cookie is set to keep you authenticated as you navigate between pages. This is a first-party, session cookie that is deleted when you log out or close your browser.
  • CSRF protection cookie: A Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) token cookie is set to protect your account from cross-site request forgery attacks. This is a first-party, session cookie essential for the security of your account.
  • Cookie consent preference: If applicable, a cookie is used to remember your cookie consent preference so that you are not asked again on every visit. This is a first-party, persistent cookie.
  • These are the only cookies set by Goletro. All are strictly necessary for the operation and security of the service.
04

Analytics without cookies

  • We use two analytics tools on our marketing website at goletro.com, both operating without setting cookies:
  • Plausible Analytics — a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not track users across websites, does not collect personal data, and is fully GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant. All data is aggregated and anonymised.
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — configured with Google Consent Mode v2 in cookieless mode. By default, analytics storage and ad storage are denied, meaning no cookies are set and no personally identifiable information is collected. Google uses cookieless pings and modelled data to provide aggregate analytics without tracking individual users. This configuration is fully GDPR compliant and does not require a cookie consent banner.
  • Why no cookie banner? Because both our analytics tools operate without cookies. GA4 Consent Mode defaults to denied consent, and Plausible is inherently cookieless. Since no tracking cookies are set, no consent banner is required under GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, or CCPA.
05

Third-party cookies

  • Goletro does not use any third-party advertising, retargeting, or social media tracking cookies.
  • We use Plausible Analytics and Google Analytics 4 (in Consent Mode) for website analytics. Neither tool sets cookies on your device in our default configuration. GA4 operates in cookieless mode with all consent categories denied by default.
  • Our payment processor, Stripe, may set cookies when you interact with payment forms on our platform. These cookies are necessary for processing payments securely and are subject to Stripe's own cookie and privacy policies.
  • We do not embed third-party widgets, social media plugins, or tracking pixels that set cookies.
06

Managing cookies

  • Since Goletro only uses strictly necessary cookies, disabling them may prevent you from logging in or using the Goletro application securely.
  • You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies. Refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions on managing cookies.
  • Please note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from accessing the authenticated areas of the Goletro application.
07

Do Not Track signals

  • Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal to websites. Since Goletro does not engage in any cross-site tracking or behavioural advertising, our practices are already consistent with the intent of DNT signals.
  • We do not change our data practices in response to DNT signals because we already follow privacy-first principles by default.
08

Changes to this policy

  • We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable regulations. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
  • For material changes — such as new categories of cookies — we will provide notice via our website or by email.
  • Continued use of our websites after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
09
